Each file, and its layers, are neatly organized and properly named to offer instruction. If you considered yourself well-versed in Photoshop, I guarantee you will have no issue with implementing your design into the mock-up.
I am very happily providing instructions, right here, right now, to show you just how easy this mock-up is to use.
- “Open” your preferred style (Vintage Venue, High Roller, The Shark)
- Double-click the Smart Object/Layer named “DOUBLE CLICK THUMBNAIL.” Click “Ok” if a dialogue box appears. This opens a new file in Photoshop named something.PSB
- Activate/highlight the layer named “PLACE DESIGN HERE” by simply clicking on it once.
- “Place” (File—Place) your design and re-size it accordingly
- Close your file (something.PSB) and select “YES” to saving
- Ta-da!
You now have a beautiful and luxurious poker chip showcasing your company/client’s artwork.
My Poker Chip Didn’t Turn Out So Hot…
It’s okay! Don’t panic. Your design may need one of two modifications (or both), which I have naturally provided the filters/solutions for!
Open the Smart Object/Layer “DOUBLE CLICK THUMBNAIL” again.
If your poker chip came out with a really odd background color, your design needs to be desaturated.“Un-hide” the layer/filter named “DESATURATE.” Close and save the file named something.PSB.
If your poker chip just doesn’t seem to blend well, your design needs the white in it removed.“Un-hide” the layer/filter named “INVERT.” Close and save the file named something.PSB.
Ta-da! NOW you have a perfect poker chip. If you applied only one of these steps, and your poker chip still didn’t turn out, then you need to un-hide BOTH filters.
